Healthy Living Awareness Campaign

This year, 2015,  we decided to do something a little bit different for the Healthy Living campaign. I am sure all are super excited for World Congress and want to get there feeling and looking their best right? So we came up with the IPSF 30 Day Healthy Living Challenge! You can also find some worldwide healthy recipe ideas from the public health committee here!

Here is the complete list for the IPSF 30 Day Healthy Living Challenge:

  1. Add more greens to a meal
  2. Do yoga
  3. Exercise: Do 20 squats and 50 crunches
  4. Enlist a workout buddy and plan an activity together
  5. Cut back on soda
  6. Exercise: Try the quick morning workout: 15 squats, 5 push-ups, 20 jumping jacks and 20 crunches
  7. Do a puzzle (like sudoku) and workout your brain
  8. Go to bed early
  9. Exercise: Try a new class at the gym
  10. Drink more water
  11. Take time for yourself
  12. Exercise: Go for a walk or a run for at least 30 minutes
  13. Eat a meatless meal
  14. Get a massage
  15. Exercise: Plank for 30 seconds, followed by 50 jumping jacks followed by another 30 second plank
  16. Volunteer for a good cause
  17. Read a good book
  18. Exercise: Watch some random dance video and sweat to it
  19. Tell someone you appreciate them
  20. Highlight a quality about yourself
  21. Exercise: Play some basketball or other sport
  22. Replace dessert with fruit
  23. Cut clutter: donate clothes and things you don’t need
  24. Exercise: 100 skips followed by 10 burpees, repeated twice
  25. Order a healthier dish at a restaurant
  26. Try a new vegetable or fruit
  27. Exercise: Go for a long walk or run
  28. Write a letter to your future self
  29. Avoid coffee for today
  30. Reduce screen time (TV, computer, tablet, phone…)
